Dell® to offer FalconStor® NSS Technology for Data Migration
Dell has entered into an agreement with FalconStor Software for enabling efficient data migration service to its customers and improving the scope of storage virtualization. It will be deploying the well-known FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS) technology to implement better forms of storage environment.
FalconStor Software is a leading provider of disk-based data protection solutions and it NSS technology is a highly scalable form of storage solution. The agreement between the two companies will largely facilitate effective storage virtualization and business continuity in heterogeneous environments. "With this technology sharing agreement, FalconStor is helping Dell meet a customer need for efficiently expanding and upgrading legacy storage installations without disrupting operations,” said Bernie Wu, vice president of business development, FalconStor.
FalconStor NSS can be deployed with VMware technologies to offer flexible storage virtualization and enhanced data protection for any storage environment. With this technology, Dell Services will be able to offer affordable data protection and better data migration services to its customers.
