Then first plug it to the wall socket, if the indicator glows, then your adapter is good. Plug it to your laptop, if the indicator glows, then it is ok but if the indicator flashes and goes off, then there may be a problem in motherboard.

The battery may not be charging and when it is unplugged from the wall socket, the laptop turns off. This may occur because of battery displacement. To install the battery, you need to hold the tab until the battery is seated firmly and then release the tab. If the tab is not in position, push it and make it seated in the position.
