You will need to press F8 after the reboot, then select ‘Repair you computer’. This will load the Windows recovery environment screen. You will need to logon using the local administrative account details.
Do not choose ‘YES’ to ‘system needs to fix the start up’ option. In further screen, select the ‘System Image Restore’. Next, you will be asked to click on ‘Install a Driver’, do not click on this. In next screen, select command prompt and type ‘X:IMAGEX /APPLY C:DellIMAGEFACTORY.WIM 1 D:’
If the system has a ‘X’ is drive where the USB has been detected and which has IMAGEX.EXE. Now it will uncompress the files and after everything worked well, remove the USB and reboot the system.

First thing that needs to be keep in mind is you need to have the recovery partition in the system. Users who are deleted the recovery partition will not able to do the factory reset. User can cross check whether the recovery partition still exists in the system by going in DellIMAGE folder. It will have approximately 16 GB of occupied space. Drive letter can be D: of depend upon the other drives you have. While going through the process of restore you will be prompted for the warning messages, please read carefully. As this warning may be different depending upon how the system has crashed.
You need to do the restore factory setting if you are not able to boot in Alienware Aurora ALX.
